Welcome to Poggetto Masino, farm holidays in Tuscany

Poggeto Masino is an old town house that takes the name of the hill upon which it is located. Surrounded by olive trees, large oak forests and grazing land, Poggeto Masino is a great location for quality time out in nature and art. During clear days, people can enjoy a view of the surrounding landscape that stretches from the nearby hills to the Isola d'Elba.

Suvereto and the Val di Cornia Region

Close to the beach as well as the mountains, Poggetto Masino stands nearby the medieval village of Suvereto and is located close to great naturalistic and archeological sites, such as the enchanting Gulf of Baratti and the ancient Etruscan City of Populonia.

The enchanting natural environment of the Val di Cornia includes the Natural Reserves of Montioni, Rimigliano e Sterpaia, the last two being marine reserves facing the famed island Isola d'Elba. In the Archeological Park of Baratti and Populonia, you may visit the ruins of the omonimous Etruscan Town.

Not very far away are the famous cities of art and culture like Pisa, Siena and Volterra. The Suvereto are is also renowned for great wines, high-quality olive-oils and the unique local cuisine.

Besides beach going or mountain trecking, additional recreational actvities may include tennis and golf playing, horse and bicycle riding. We may also mention the thermal water station of Venturina whose waters are well known since the Etrurian and Roman times for their curative properties.
